Types of filters you can use
1. Response filter - who answered (or didn't)
Target contacts based on how they've interacted with your previous messages - the foundation of effective follow-ups.
-
All contacts: Everyone in your campaign (includes all 4 leads)
-
No response to text: Only people who never replied (Lead 01)
-
Responded (text and call): Anyone who replied in any way (Leads 02, 03, 04)
-
Responded (text): People who texted back specifically
-
Responded (call): People who called instead of texting
Pro tip: In 90% of follow-up campaigns, you'll select "No response to text" to re-engage with silent prospects. Don't worry about unsent messages - they're automatically included.
2. Label filter - target by interest level
Labels transform generic campaigns into highly personalized outreach by categorizing contacts based on their interest and status.
-
"Hot lead" label: Targets your most promising prospects (Lead 02)
-
"Low interest" label: Reaches people who showed limited engagement (Leads 03, 04)
-
"6-month follow-up" label: Perfect for scheduled follow-ups (Lead 04)
-
"No labels" option: Finds uncategorized contacts (Lead 01)
Pro tip: Create entirely different messaging for different labels. Someone who's a "Hot lead" needs a very different approach than someone with "Low interest" - personalization drives conversions.
3. Response date filter - when they replied
Time your follow-ups based on when contacts responded - critical for maintaining momentum with engaged prospects.
-
May responders: Targets Leads 02 and 03
-
June responders: Only reaches Lead 04
Pro tip: This filter only appears when you've selected "Responded" options. Use it to prioritize recent interactions or create specialized campaigns for older leads that need re-engagement.
4. Area code filter - where they're from
Geographic targeting creates local relevance that dramatically improves engagement rates.
-
Texas area code: Targets Leads 01 and 02
-
California area code: Targets Leads 03 and 04
Pro tip: Buy phone numbers with local area codes to instantly boost credibility and response rates. Also perfect for timing messages appropriately across different time zones - send texts when people are actually awake!
5. Groups filter: Segment by category
Groups provide another powerful way to organize contacts by property type, lead source, or any other meaningful category.
-
"Apartments" group: Targets Leads 01 and 04
-
"Land" group: Targets Leads 02 and 03
Pro tip: Create groups based on what your contacts are interested in or how they came to you. The way you name your groups matters - use descriptive names that help you create more targeted messaging later.
6. Favorites toggle: VIP treatment
Quickly filter to focus on your starred high-value prospects that deserve special attention.
-
Favorites: Only targets Lead 02
Pro tip: Star your hottest prospects and use this filter to quickly create campaigns just for them - perfect for special offers or personal outreach.

Filter logic: Any vs. All (The powerful concept worth mastering)
This is the key to advanced filtering that many users find confusing - but once you understand it, you'll create super-targeted campaigns.
-
Any: Shows contacts matching at least one selected criterion
-
All: Shows contacts matching every selected criterion
Example with "Low interest" and "6-month follow-up" labels:
-
With Any logic: You'll get Lead 03 (has low interest) AND Lead 04 (has both labels)
-
With All logic: You'll get ONLY Lead 04 (the only one with both labels)
Pro tip: Use "All" to create laser-focused campaigns for specific segments. Use "Any" when you want to cast a wider net or reach more people.
