Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Smarter Contact subscription anytime through the app. Follow these steps to complete the process:

How to cancel your subscription 

  1. Go to the Membership page 
  2. Scroll down and click on the Unsubscribe button

  3. Select the plan you wish to cancel. 
  4. Select the reason for canceling and click "I understand the consequences and still want to cancel".
  5. Click on the checkbox to consent to all canceling disclosures. 
  6. Click on “I understand the consequences and still want to cancel”.

What happens after I unsubscribe?

  • Your subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be made to your credit card.
  • You can continue using Smarter Contact until your current billing period ends.
  • You can resume your subscription at any time before the billing period ends by clicking Resume subscription.
  • Once the cancellation takes effect, you will lose access to all Smarter Contact features included in your plan, such as:
    • Sending messages or launching SMS campaigns if you had a Messaging plan.
    • Accessing all Dialer features if you had a Calling plan.
  • While waiting for your subscription to expire, you may still incur phone number fees, which will be deducted from your balance/wallet according to your billing cycle and the number of phone numbers associated with your account. Consider removing the phone numbers before the billing cycle ends to avoid these charges.

Can I reactivate my subscription?
Yes! You can reactivate your subscription anytime by visiting the Membership page and resubscribing.

What happens to the phone numbers I purchased?
All purchased phone numbers will be released 14 days after the cancellation takes effect.

What happens to my 10DLC registration?
Your 10DLC registration remains active for 30 days after cancellation. If you choose to return to Smarter Contact later, you must reapply for 10DLC registration.

What happens to my data after cancellation?
Your account data, including campaigns, messages, contacts, and reports, will be retained for one year. After that, all data will be permanently deleted.

Can I access my account after my subscription is canceled?
Yes, you can still log in to your account, even if your subscription is canceled.

Will I receive a refund when I cancel my subscription?
When the cancellation date arrives, we’ll credit your account for:

  • Unsent scheduled SMS messages
  • Unsent scheduled Ringless Voicemails (RVMs)

We do not offer refunds for fees, subscription charges, or one-time purchases.
