Call scripts ensure your messaging is consistent and can be personalized with contact information fields, making every conversation feel more tailored and relevant.
Creating a Call Script
- Go to Call Scripts in the Dialer Tab
Navigate to the Dialer tab and select Call Scripts. - Click 'Add New Script'
Click the Add New Script button to start creating your script.
- Enter Script Name
Give your script a name that helps you easily identify its purpose. - Write Your Script Using Custom Fields
Create your script, using custom fields to personalize your message. - Click 'Save'
Once you’ve completed your script, click Save to store it.
Using Custom Fields
Custom fields allow you to dynamically personalize scripts by pulling in information from your contact list. To use custom fields, use the following format:
- <first_name> – Contact's first name
- <last_name> – Contact's last name
- <address> – Property address
- <phone> – Contact's phone number
- Any custom field from your contact list
Example Script:
“Hi <first_name>, I noticed you own property at <address>. I'm calling about…”
Important Notes
- Test all custom fields before using them in a campaign to ensure they pull the correct information.
- You can edit your script at any time, so feel free to update it as needed.
- Each campaign can only use one script at a time.
- Custom fields must exactly match the headers in your contact list.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If fields aren’t populating, double-check that the field names match exactly with your contact list headers.
- If the script isn’t saving, ensure there are no invalid characters in your script.
- If your script isn’t showing up, try refreshing the campaign page.
