Managing Your Current Balance

Smarter Contact runs on a prepaid model — you keep a membership plan for access to the platform, and you top up your Current Balance to pay for what you actually use, like sending texts or skip tracing. Your Current Balance is where you see how much you've got left and keep it funded so your campaigns never stall.

What your Current Balance shows

Open your Current Balance and you'll see:

  • The funds remaining on your account.
  • Your Auto Recharge status and any rules you've set up.

Recharge your balance

Running low, or just want to top up? Adding funds takes a few clicks:

  1. Click the Settings wheel and open the Membership page.
  2. Scroll to the Current Balance section and click Recharge Now.
  3. In the pop-up, enter the dollar amount you want to add and click Confirm.

Your balance updates right away, and you're good to keep going.

💡 Pro tip — Turn on Auto Recharge to top your balance up automatically when it runs low — the easiest way to avoid a low-balance interruption in the middle of a campaign.

Good to know

  • Check your rates first. The top of the Membership page lists the price for each service — SMS, phone numbers, skip tracing, outbound calls, and RVM (ringless voicemail) delivered. RVM rates apply to Pro and Elite plans only.
  • Find your invoices. Every recharge shows up under Your Billing History.
  • Watch for low-balance alerts. If a Your Balance is Low notification pops up while you're working, top up your balance and try the action again.
