Managing Your Opt-In API Integration
Once your Opt-In API is active, you maintain full control over its operational status. From the Integrations dashboard, you can easily pause data ingestion, rotate your secure endpoint, or completely remove the connection as your business needs change.
Deactivating the Integration
Pausing the integration temporarily halts incoming data without deleting your configuration.

Navigate to Workflows > Integrations.

Locate your Opt-In API under the My integrations section.

Switch the toggle to the Off position.

Click Deactivate when the confirmation window appears.
Result: The system will immediately stop receiving new contacts from your external forms until you turn the toggle back on.
Reactivating the Integration
To resume capturing leads:

Navigate to Workflows > Integrations.

Locate your Opt-In API under My integrations.
-
Switch the toggle to the On position.
Result: Your integration is instantly active and ready to process incoming contacts again.
Regenerating Your API URL
If you need to secure your connection or rotate your credentials, you can generate a new API URL.

Navigate to Workflows > Integrations.

Find your Opt-In API and click the Edit icon.

Click Regenerate URL.

Click Regenerate in the confirmation window.
⚠️ Critical Next Step: You must immediately copy the new URL and update your integration tool (Zapier, Make, Facebook Lead Ads, etc.). The old URL is instantly invalidated, and leads will not sync until the new endpoint is in place.
Deleting the Integration
If you no longer need the connection or wish to start over:

Navigate to Workflows > Integrations.

Find your Opt-In API and click the Delete icon.

Confirm the action in the prompt.
Result: The connection is permanently removed. The + Add opt-in API button will become available again if you need to build a fresh integration.
Important Notes

Data Retention: Deactivating or deleting the integration will not delete the contacts already captured in your Opt-in queue.

URL Invalidation: As a security measure, regenerating your URL immediately breaks the previous link. Update your external tools right away to prevent dropped leads.

Phone Number Dependency: The API requires an active phone number to send compliance messages. Because of this, you cannot delete your last approved messaging phone number while the Opt-In API is active. You must toggle the integration off first.
Troubleshooting Common Issues

Leads stopped syncing after a reset: If you recently clicked "Regenerate URL," log into your external tool (like Zapier or Make) and verify that the new URL was correctly pasted and saved.
