Smarter Contact 3.12 Web App Update

Smarter Contact 3.12 is about setting your own pace: your full allocation of texts upfront for the whole billing term, more room to write everywhere you write, and media that shows its cost as you attach it.

Here's what's new.

🔄 A full term of texts, upfront

Quarterly and yearly plans now receive their entire text allocation at the start of the term rather than month by month. Quarterly plans get three times the monthly allowance on day one, yearly plans get twelve times. It resets on your renewal date.

Use it at whatever pace your pipeline calls for. Front-load a launch week, carry a heavy month, or spread it evenly. One date to plan around instead of twelve.

Already on a quarterly or yearly term? Your credits keep resetting on the current monthly schedule until your next renewal. The new schedule takes effect when your subscription renews, not at release.

📝 More room to say it

Message limits went up across the app. They differ by surface, because each one gets used differently:

• 1:1 conversations: 10 segments, up from 2. Applies in Messenger, Contacts chats, and workflow messages.
• Quick replies: 5 segments, up from 2, with a heads up if one runs long.
• Message templates: 3 segments, up from 2, with the cost shown before you save.

🖼️ Better media sending

Attaching media is more predictable, and you can see what it costs while you build the message.

• Attachments accumulate. Adding another image adds it to your selection instead of replacing it.
• Cost as you build. The counter switches to MMS and updates as attachments come and go, so you know the cost before you send rather than after you check your usage.
• Files or voice, one at a time. Attaching a file pauses recording and starting a recording pauses attaching, with a tooltip explaining why.

Unread counts, contact counts, and the contacts list all load quicker.
