Upgrading Your Subscription
Ready for more? You can upgrade to a Smarter Contact plan with more features — or a longer subscription period that saves you money over time. It's just a couple of clicks from your Membership page. Here's how to upgrade, how to switch to yearly billing, and what happens to your billing along the way.
Upgrade your plan
- Go to the Membership page.
- Click Update Plan.
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to. To switch to yearly billing, toggle the Yearly menu.
- Click Update Plan again to confirm.

💡 Pro tip — Switching to a yearly plan lowers your effective monthly cost — the longer the term you commit to, the more you save versus paying month to month.
What happens to your billing
Two things change the moment you switch:
- Your billing cycle resets. It restarts from the day you upgrade.
- Unused time becomes credit. Whatever time is left on your current plan is prorated and applied toward the cost of your new one — so you don't pay twice for the overlap.
How your credit is calculated
Your credit is the unused portion of your current plan:
(Full price of your current plan ÷ total days in the subscription period) × days left in the period
For example, say your current plan is $100 for a 30-day cycle and you upgrade with 9 days left:
($100 ÷ 30) × 9 = $30 credit applied to your new plan.
